Student Handbook

The Student Handbook (Manifesto degli studi) is the official document outlining the educational path for each academic year. It is approved annually by the PhD Programme Committee and serves as a roadmap for your doctoral training.
The Manifesto provides detailed information regarding:

  • Course Offerings: A comprehensive list of courses provided by the National PhD Programme in Space Science and Technology.
  • Educational Activities: Provisions for introductory, characterizing, and supplementary training.
  • Credit Requirements (CFU/ECTS): The minimum number of credits to be earned through advanced courses, general training, or specialized activities (e.g., International Summer and Winter Schools).
  • Study Plan Submission: Specific instructions and deadlines for submitting and updating your individual study plan.
  • Assessment & Exams: Rules and procedures for final tests and academic evaluations for each course.
    Yearly assessment and admission procedure to the following year.
  • Final Exam.
